Position Purpose
As a key member of the Financial Reporting team, you will prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for the combined AgriBank District.  Responsibilities include financial reporting, report and model maintenance, project participation and process improvement, client and internal relationship management, and external auditor support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
  • 4 years of related experience
  • 2 years of public accounting experience preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job

Knowledge and Skills

  • Working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards and processes, internal controls
  • Knowledge of SEC rules and requirements
  • Researching accounting questions and providing explanations to clients and/or colleagues
  • Working as part of a team
  • Proficient oral and written communication
  • Systematic approach to problem solving and resolution
  • Analyzing information to formulate logical and objective conclusions
  • Using Word and Excel to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Preferred: knowledge of Farm Credit Administration regulations and requirements
